Pick up a free ArtKit filled with exciting supplies and join us on Zoom to celebrate the Jewish fall holidays of Sukkot and Simchat Torah through creative fun. Tell a friend! People of all ages and backgrounds are invited to join in the fun and make art with us. 

Register today to reserve your ArtKit (available while supplies last), and pick up from one of several Bay Area locations on Thursday, September 23. Then, tune in live via Zoom on Sunday, September 26 to hang out, create, and celebrate with us!  

Can’t make it to the live event? You can still join in the fun—grab an ArtKit and tune into the recorded event starting October 1 on our Stories page! Plus, if you aren’t able to pick up an ArtKit, you can still gather the supplies* at home and tune in to create with us! You’ll still need to register for the live Zoom event.

How to attend

This online program is free, and advanced registration is required. Please register via the link below. During registration, you will also be asked how many ArtKits you would like to reserve, and which location you will pick up from.

Accessibility

The CJM strives to provide a welcoming and accessible environment to all who attend our digital programming and online content. Live ASL interpretation will be included for this program. If you will be utilizing the live interpretation, please contact access@thecjm.org to let us know, or for any other questions or requests.

ArtKit Pickup

Thursday, September 23 | 2–5PM*

The CJM will provide an ArtKit containing project supplies that you can pick up from your choice of several locations throughout the Bay Area.

  • Beth Sholom, 301 14th Ave, San Francisco, CA 94118: 2–5pm 
  • Netivot Shalom, 1316 University Ave, Berkeley, CA 94702: 2–5pm 
  • JCC Marin, 200 N San Pedro Rd, San Rafael, CA 94903: 2–5pm 
  • Contra Costa Jewish Day School, 955 Risa Rd, Lafayette: 2–5pm 
  • Peninsula JCC, 800 Foster City Blvd, Foster City: 2–5pm
ArtBash Live

Sunday, September 26 | 10–11am 

Tune in via Zoom on Sunday, September 26 at 10am with your ArtKit for a live, guided art-making session. The virtual session will also be recorded and posted on our Stories page by October 1. 

What's in the Artkit?

If you can’t make the trip to pick up an ArtKit, you can still gather the following supplies and tune in to create with us! The ArtKit includes: 

  • One cardboard base (approximately 5’’X7’’) 
  • Small amount of modeling clay (Plasteline) 
  • Ten paper straws 
  • Assortment of colorful tissue paper (ten 2’’X10’’ strips) 
  • Glue stick 
  • Felt sheet (approximately 5’’X7’’) 
  • Assortment of sticky felt shapes 
  • One Chopstick 

Gather from home: 

  • Scissors
