Rebecca Poretsky

Rebecca Poretsky is an improviser, actor, writer, and performer. She's been improvising for over 15+ years. She regularly and often performs with the main stage company at BATS Improv, and has also improvised in the Bay Area with Speechless, Awkward Dinner Party, Couples Therapy Improv, and The Un-Scripted Theatre Company. Poretsky has performed live and video sketch comedy (Crisis Hopkins, the Kasper Hauser Comedy Group) and original solo performance (I Left My Heart in Brooklyn—The Marsh). She starred as Señorita Panochista in Spring Break: The Musical, an original production written and produced by the Mortified team. She's performed with BRAVA for Women in the Arts in San Francisco, the Bread and Puppet Theater in Vermont and in New York City, and trained at Shakespeare and Company in Lenox, Massachusetts.
