See a musical mosaic that explores the depth and nuance of Asian Jewish identity through the words of more than fifty Asian American Jews. Underscored with piano orchestration by Asian Jewish songwriter Jenni Rudolph, What Does Asian Jewish Identity Sound Like? invites you to journey through the full spectrum of the Asian Jewish experience—dissonant, vibrant, heavy, joyful, and everything in between. The film will be screened in The CJM's Blue Cube throughout AAPI Heritage Month.
LUNAR: The Jewish-Asian Film Project will be screening in the Blue Cube during open hours. No ticket is required to view the screening. To visit the rest of The Museum, book tickets below.
Enjoy a relaxing drop-in art project designed by the artist Carol Man in The CJM's Blue Cube. This self-paced activity will teach you to create Chinese Hebrew calligraphy, infusing Hebrew letters with the fluidity and rhythm of Chinese brushstrokes.
LUNAR: The Jewish-Asian Film Project was the launching pad of the LUNAR Collective, the premiere organization cultivating connection, belonging, and visibility for Asian American Jews. Learn more about the LUNAR Collective at weareasianjews.org.
