The Contemporary Jewish Museum (The CJM) seeks a Visitor Experience (VX) Specialist who provides welcoming and informative first contact with visitors, annual Members, and VIPs. The CJM strives to offer a best-in-class experience to each visitor immediately upon arrival and throughout their stay. VX Specialist team members must be willing to set the tone and to assist in enforcing health and safety practices with others as needed.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a dependable individual with strong interpersonal and communications skills. Shifts for the Visitor Experience Specialist will be scheduled by the Visitor Experience Manager. Work hours for this position will be variable, (12–15 hours a week), and will primarily be during The Museum’s public hours, Thursday–Sunday.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a dependable individual with strong interpersonal and communications skills. Shifts for the Visitor Experience Specialist will be scheduled by the Visitor Experience Manager on an as-needed basis, which means that the Visitor Experience Specialist may be contacted when opportunities are available and may accept or decline the hours based on their availability. The as-needed status does not obligate The CJM to offer hours or obligate the Visitor Experience Specialist to accept hours offered. Work hours for this position will be variable.
