Events Coordinators are integral to individual events at The Contemporary Jewish Museum (The CJM), serving as a primary onsite point-of-contact on a day-of-event basis to deliver successful event experiences for guests and clients. Responsibilities of the Events Coordinator include, but are not limited to, coordinating internal and external (vendor/client) logistics; assisting with event execution; communicating across security, janitorial, and front of house functions; and ensuring compliance with The CJM's policies.
The successful individual in this role will provide a high level of customer service and will enthusiastically promote The CJM as a cultural and community setting. For all positions, The Museum expects an interest in and commitment to the mission and core values of The CJM, including its beliefs in anti-racism, diversity, equity, access, and inclusion.
