In this highly anticipated opening salvo of the exhibition Beat Memories: The Photographs of Allen Ginsberg, enjoy a pop-up poetry salon, drop-in zine making with Rad Dad creators, a typewriter petting zoo, cash bar, and more.

Members have priority ticketing to a talk about Allen Ginsberg, his life, and the making of the exhibition, Beat Memories: The Photographs of Allen Ginsberg, with the National Gallery of Art’s Senior Curator of Photographs Sarah Greenough. The talk is followed by an original musical arrangement of Ginsberg’s 1956 poem “America.”
