About the Program

For Work in Progress: Considering Utopia, Bay Area artist Elisheva Biernoff created The Tools Are in Your Hands, a magnetic mural that invites viewers to create a utopian vista by adding idealized agricultural elements and Approaching Utopia, a large-scale wall painting representing activist movements.  In a lively conversation with CJM Executive Director Lori Starr, SECA-finalist Biernoff talks about her work and creative process.
