Families experience new adventures in drop-in art-making every Sunday. Learn more about the exhibitions on display, the building’s architecture, or Jewish holidays and traditions, while experimenting with materials and art techniques.
Create your own Beat photograph inspired by the exhibition Beat Memories: The Photographs of Allen Ginsberg using text and images.

Admission: Members $10; General $20 (includes Museum admission, one adult and up to two children)
Join the Museum for our first ever ZOOM Family Studios, an opportunity for kids (ages four and up) and their adult companions to explore the gallery with an artist, zoom in on a selected style or technique, and have fun creating art together in our studio. In this first series, zoom into abstract art from Beyond Belief: 100 Years of the Spiritual in Modern Art and get inspired to create artwork using a variety of fine art materials.

Celebrate the CJM’s third annual LGBTQ Family Day: A Day for Families, Friends, and Allies. On second Sundays, the Museum opens early just for preschoolers and their families. Activities include gallery explorations, hands-on art-making fun, and a stellar line-up of favorite children’s performers from the Bay Area and beyond. Create a miniature city in the art studio, move to the songs of Jonathan Bayer, and enjoy family fun in conjunction with the exhibition Beyond Belief: 100 Years of the Spiritual in Modern Art.
