About the Program

The CJM exhibition Jason Lazarus includes Occupy signs recreated from media-sourced images of the 2011–12 occupations that occurred worldwide. During the workshop led by artist Lazarus, participants recreate the original signs as accurately as possible, including reproducing the handwriting, creases, bends, and tears present in the originals. Free with Museum admission; limited seating; advance registration recommended.

Public Programs and New Media Initiatives at The Contemporary Jewish Museum are made possible with lead support from The Jim Joseph Foundation. Major support has been provided by the Leavitt Family and supporting sponsorship comes from The Toole Family Charitable Foundation, David B. Gold Foundation, In Memory of Benjamin Alpert.
