ADMISSION: Free with Museum admission
In conjunction with Cary Leibowitz: Museum Show, the Gallery Chat series will take a more performative bent with live Friday afternoon events by local poets and performers. Series created in partnership with Manic D Press.
Poet and performance artist Alvin Orloff performs in conjunction with the exhibition Cary Leibowitz: Museum Show.
Alvin Orloff is the author of three madcap, queer novels, I Married an Earthling, Gutter Boys, and Why Aren't You Smiling? He currently works as the manager of a quaint, neighborhood bookstore and is penning a memoir detailing his misadventures in San Francisco's bohemian underground during the height of the AIDS epidemic.
