LINK is a multidimensional initiative which brings together a monthly speaker series exploring the intersection of Judaism and new technologies, a year-long educator fellowship, and an innovative exhibition with web, gallery, and classroom components. |

Upcoming Exhibition: Are We There Yet?
Are We There Yet? is a new media art installation in the Museum's Yud Gallery by Bay Area artists Ken Goldberg and Gil Gershoni that celebrates inquisitive impulse. An immersive sound environment, the installation poses questions from a variety of sources including the Talmud, literature, and popular culture. Questions vary based on visitors’ movement through the space.
Each visit is a unique mix of playfulness, poetry, and spiritual journey. A companion website launched in advance of the exhibition presents live streams of videos and tweets, allowing visitors to suggest questions for the exhibition and to playfully explore the suggestions of others. Are We There Yet? encourages visitors to reflect on the rich history and future of curiosity. More »

Educator Fellowship
The LINK Educator Fellowship opens the Contemporary Jewish Museum as a laboratory for a group of Bay Area educators to comment on and engage in integrating new technology in Jewish education. The LINK fellows will convene to consider ways to coalesce user-generated websites, museum exhibitions, and Jewish teaching, in meaningful ways. Their conversations will be documented and collected on this Web page and all are invited to join the dialogue. The fellowship will culminate in the creation of a curriculum tool that will connect the upcoming technology based exhibition, Are We There Yet?, with both the classroom and informal learning environments.
