Keats Story Time | 11:30am–12:00pm

Family Gallery Tour | 11:30am–12:15pm
Experience the world of color and collage in this interactive tour of The Snowy Day and the Art of Ezra Jack Keats, specially designed for families with children up to age nine. With hands-on experiential activities woven throughout, Keats and his groundbreaking work will reach a whole new generation of readers and art-lovers! Limited capacity; Advance registration recommended.

Curator Gallery Talk | 12:00pm–12:30pm

Keats in Song with the Pacific Boychoir Academy | 12–1pm
Listen to members of this award-winning local boys choir sing selections from composer Stephen Schwartz’s (Wicked) off-Broadway hit Captain Louie, based on the beloved Ezra Jack Keats character. Limited capacity.

Curator Gallery Talk | 1:00pm–1:30pm

Keats Animation Film Screenings | 1pm–3pm
Watch animations of your favorite Keats stories on the big screen. Films include Peter’s ChairLetter to Amy A.Apt. 3The TripPet ShowThe Snowy Day, and Whistle for Willie.

Collage and Marbling Drop-In Art-Making | 1–3pm
Experiment with paper marbling and collage techniques, and then make your own Keats-inspired work of art. And while you’re here, add your own creative stamp to the Museum’s ongoing Keats Community Mural.

Members Sale at the Museum Store | 11am–5pm

Members receive 20% discount in the Museum Store all day.

The Snowy Day and the Art of Ezra Jack Keats was organized by The Jewish Museum, New York, from the collection of the de Grummond Children's Literature Collection, The University of Southern Mississippi. The exhibition was funded at The Jewish Museum through a generous grant from the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation. Additional support was provided by the Joseph Alexander Foundation, the Alfred J.
