About the Program
Noir Czar and founder of the SF Noir Film Festival Eddie Muller investigates the life, work, and legacy of the crime photographer Weegee. Originally a member of the Photo League, Weegee became notorious as the most dramatic of photojournalists because he approached his crimes scenes as art. Muller will use short film clips to illustrate his talk.
